謝公橋在紹興城內(nèi)西小路與新河弄交接處，始建于后晉（936-946），清康熙四年（1685）重修。
Xiegong Bridge is located at the junction of Xixiao Road and Xinhe Road in Shaoxing city. The bridge was built in Later Jin (936-946), rebuilt in Qing Dynasty (1685). Under the bridge is Xixiao River; there are many houses on the banks of the river, which show the amazing style of the ancient city.
Today, Xiegong Bridge is near Shaoxing Beihai Primary School. There are so many buildings with typical Shaoxing style; there is also a Wupeng Boat (a kind of boat special in Shaoxing) berthed on the river. Since the bridge is not located next to the highway, the area looks like a miracle place in the city with beautiful sceneries. There are many locals and some visitors walking by. When I was visiting this bridge, I met a dog which was enjoying the sunshine in the afternoon.

It has a total length of 28.5 meters and a net span of 8 meters. The bridge deck has a figure-eight shape and the top has a net width of 2.95 meters. Each piece of arch stone has lettering and a lotus seat pattern. Eighty percent of the lettering is the name of the bridge donor. Under the bridge, there is a dragon-shaped relief carved on the square. The bridge base uses a double-layered foundation stone.
